Grandparents Day!

Grandparents Day is coming for Tracks A & B on November 8th. Have grandparents join your kids for lunch. And while they are there, they can check out the book fair!

Book Fair Coming!

Our book fair for Tracks A and B will be November 9 and 10 along with SEP’s. We will be open from 3:45-8:30 on Wednesday and Thursday.

Also, we will be open during Grandparents Day on Tuesday, November 8 from 11:30-1:00. Bring your grandparents or favorite adult to the book fair!

We have all had the problem of flyers being misplaced at home or not coming home in the first place. The PTA has decided to post all flyers here on the blog for easy reference. This list will be updated as flyers are sent home.

The following are flyers that have recently been sent home by PTA:

Halloween Carnvial

The PTA is excited to host the 4th annual Halloween Carnival at Falcon Ridge Elementary. Once again the Halloween Carnival will be in place of individual classroom parties. The carnival will be held during school hours on Monday, October 31, 2011. D track students may attend the carnival with parental supervision. We thank you and appreciate your help making this Halloween Carnival the best experience for all the students at Falcon Ridge Elementary.

The times for the carnival is as follows:
8:45 - 9:15 5th grade
9:20 - 9:50 AM Kind.
9:55 - 10:25 4th grade
10:30 - 11:00 6th grade
11:05 - 11:35 3rd grade
11:40 - 12:10 2nd grade
12:15 - 12:45 1st grade
12:50 - 1:20 PM Kind.

We are still in need of candy donations. Please bring a bag of individually wrapped candy with at least 30 pieces. Due to the potential of food/nut allergies, please choose from one of the following types of candy. Please do not purchase a combination bag containing different types of candy:

• Mamba • Laffy Taffy
• Regular Tootsie Rolls • Smarties
• Wonka Candy • Twizzler Licorice

Remember to Sign Up for Parent/Teacher Conferences!

Tracks C & D:  Make sure you sign up online for your time for parent/teacher conferences.  It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1.  Go to:  http://www.jordandistrict.org/
2.  Click on the "Gradebook" icon on the right side.
3.  Scroll to the bottom and click on the "Login to Online Scheduler".

Fundraiser ends Sept. 23rd for Tracks C & D

Just a reminder that the fundraiser for Tracks C & D ends on Friday, September 23rd. If you are not interested in purchasing coupon books or cookie dough but would still like to help out the PTA, you can make a monetary donation. Please place donations in an envelope with "PTA Fundraiser" and your child's name written on it. Thanks for your support!

Walk To School Day

Walk To School Day is Sept. 1st for Tracks A, B & D and Sept. 8th for Track C.  Come early to get a green ribbon and a snack before school!

Track D's Back To School Night is on August 25th at 7 pm.
