Get Your Jr Falcons Spirit Wear!

The deadline for Spirit Wear orders is quickly approaching! Our little angels will bring home an order form today or tomorrow. If you want to place an order please send the form, including payment, back to school with your child by Friday, September 12th. All writing that appears red or magenta in the attached proofs will actually be maroon. Wondering what size to order?  Unprinted samples of shirts and sweatshirts are available in the office at school.

Halloween Carnival

 PTA is excited to host the 5th annual Halloween Carnival, October 31st.  The Carnival will be held during school hours instead of classroom parties. The PTA is asking for volunteers and donations from each class. We thank you and appreciate your help in making this Halloween carnival the best experience for ALL students at Falcon Ridge Elementary.

*Classes are asked to donate bags of individually wrapped candy*

Please bring a bag of individually wrapped candy with at leased 30 pieces. Due to potential of food/nut allergies, please choose from the following candy list only; please do not purchase a combination bag containing different types of candy:

• Mamba
• Regular Tootsie Rolls
• Twizzler Licorice 
• Laffy Taffy 
• Smarties
• Wonka Candy

We want to make sure everyone will be able to enjoy the Carnival.  D Track will be off track during the Carnival.  They are welcome to come at anytime, with a parent.  Below is the grade activity schedule.

      9:00-930 AM Kindergarten

      9:40-10:10 1^st Grade

     10:20-10:50 4^th Grade

      11:00-11:30 3^rd Grade

      11:40-12:10 2^nd Grade

      1:10-1:40 6^th Grade

      1:50-2:20 5^th Grade

      2:30-3:00 PM Kindergarten

Red Ribbon Week

September 24th - 28th is Red Ribbon Week.   Take a visible stand against drugs.

Monday: September 24th "Sock it to Drugs Day!" -- Wear your craziest socks!

Tuesday: September 25th "Being Drug Free is Magic!" -- Wear red today!

Wednesday: September 26th "We CAN all say No to Drugs!" -- Bring a can of food to donate to a local food bank!

Thursday: September 27th "Living Drug-Free is NO Sweat" -- Everyone an wear sweats to school.

Friday: September 28th "Turn Your Back on Drugs"  -- Everyone wears clothes backwards to school today.

Breakfast with Books (A&B track)

 Breakfast with Books for A/B tracks.   Wednesday, August 22, 7:30-8:15 a.m in the gym.  Come spend time and read with your students before school.  Doughnuts, milk, and orange juice provided by the Falcon Ridge PTA.

Don't forget your books to read and a blanket to sit on if you would like!

Crescendo Choir!

Dear Students and Parents:

It's time to start Crescendo again, and we are looking for committed students from grades 2-6 who love singing. We will be practicing every Friday right after school from 1:25-2:15 starting September 14. PLEASE return this form no later than August 17, the day you track off, so that we can have an approximate number of participants. A schedule for each month will come home the first practice of that month.  Click here for form
